Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 2026

Warmth & Wool is committed to making blanketsforstuffanimals.com (the “Site”) welcoming and usable for every visitor, including people who rely on assistive technology. This page is maintained by Warmth & Wool and describes the accessibility practices currently in place. It is not an independent certification.

Our approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a working target. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checklist — we review the Site as we update it and fix issues as we find them.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with a single <main> landmark per page and a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images and empty alt on decorative ones.
  • Accessible names on icon-only buttons and form controls.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators and full keyboard navigation for interactive elements.
  • Color pairings chosen from our design tokens to meet WCAG AA contrast on body copy.
  • Responsive layouts with tap targets sized for touch, and support for zoom and text resizing.
  • Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference where animation is used.

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds and analytics scripts (for example Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) are outside our direct control and may not always meet the same standards. If you encounter a barrier in any part of the Site, please let us know so we can address it.

Feedback

We welcome reports of accessibility issues and suggestions for improvement. Email hello@blanketsforstuffanimals.com with a description of the problem, the page URL, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We aim to respond within five business days.

Updates

As the Site evolves we will revise this statement to reflect current practices and revise the “Last updated” date above.
